Emma Grace's 1st birthday party

Emma Grace's first birthday party was on Saturday and it was so much fun! We had about 60 people come out and celebrate with us at Lake Wheeler. The weather was hot, but not unbearable. My mom and grandmother helped in so many ways to make it a perfect day, and it really was. And I didn't have a breakdown (although I did get teary-eyed a couple of times)!

Emma Grace posed for a picture before the party. I loved her dress with her name on it!

The pink and yellow candy bar!

We had pink Jones Soda and Mellow Yellow to keep with the pink and yellow theme. We also had water and juice boxes for the kids.

The menu consisted of hotdogs, chili, slaw, chips, fruit kabobs, and pasta salad.

Jereme and the dads maned the grill and did a great job!

The cakes!
When it came time for everyone to sing, Emma Grace pretended to be bashful (she does that all the time now!) by leaning over in her chair!

Blowing out the candle!
Emma Grace is her mother's daughter. She loved the cake. Loved it. She got upset when we took it away.

Me and my girlfriends with two babies and one on the way!
We had lots of activities and games, like corn hole, ladder ball, and a sandbox, to keep the crowd entertained.

It was such a special day and we are so thankful to have so many friends and family who love us and love our little girl!
